Questions, answered
Why do you base most weekends in Limassol?
Because it holds up for the kind of weekend we plan. Limassol has the marina, the five-star hotels, the best restaurants on the island and an international crowd year-round rather than a summer season. Everything sits close enough together that a group isn't spending half the weekend in transfers. It's also where we're based, which means our partners there are people we work with constantly, not names on a list.
Is this a typical stag do package?
No. There's no per-head package, no bar crawl, no matching t-shirts. Your planner designs the weekend around the groom — a private villa or a marina residence, a skippered yacht for the day, a chef cooking at the table, the right tables held under your name. Same occasion, planned properly.
Do you plan stag dos as well as bachelor parties?
Same weekend, different word — we plan both. Groups from the UK and Ireland tend to say stag do, stag party or stag weekend; elsewhere in Europe it's more often a bachelor party. What doesn't change is how it's put together.
Where's the best base for a stag weekend in Cyprus?
Limassol, almost always. It's the most cosmopolitan city on the island — a working marina, the best restaurants in Cyprus, five-star hotels and a seafront people actually live on rather than visit for one season. Ayia Napa runs young and loud through July and August; if that isn't your group, Limassol is the better address. Paphos and Larnaca are quieter again, and we plan in both.
How far ahead should we book?
For summer weekends, as early as you can. The villas and skippered boats worth having are a small pool and they go first. We've built good weekends at short notice too — ask, and we'll tell you honestly what's still open rather than what's left.
How big a group can you plan for?
From four up to twenty or more. Bigger groups get easier for you, not harder — the more moving parts there are, the more one planner holding all of them is worth.
Does the groom have to know what's planned?
Entirely up to you. Plenty of best men keep the itinerary to themselves and simply tell everyone where to be. Your planner works either way, and keeps surprises off any group chat the groom is in.
