Hen weekends Limassol
A hen weekend in Limassol.
Limassol is the elegant one. The best hotels on the island, the best restaurants, a working marina, and nights out that are smarter than anywhere else in Cyprus. It's also where we live, so everything on this page is somewhere we've actually been.

Is Limassol right for your group?
Yes, if
- The group spans a range of ages
- You want the weekend to feel expensive, not messy
- The dinner is one of the main events
- You want a mix — water, food, spa, a night out
- Your dates fall outside the summer season
Probably not, if
- The nights out are the only thing that matters
- You want a strip you can walk end to end
- The group wants loud and doesn't mind rough edges
The honest difference: Limassol is the VIP one and Ayia Napa is the party one. The clubs here are smarter, the door staff care how a group behaves, and you can't get away with the things people get away with further east. For a lot of hen groups that's precisely the appeal — a night out that feels like an occasion rather than a scrum. If what you actually want is the strip, go to Ayia Napa and have a better time.
Where to stay
Four shapes, and the right one depends on whether the group wants to be in the middle of things or above them.
-
A seafront hotel
-
An apartment by the marina
-
An apartment in the old town
-
A villa up in the hills
One thing worth knowing: the old town is better at night than it looks in the day. Quiet and a bit sleepy at noon, and then it's where the evening happens. Staying there means walking home rather than finding taxis for twelve at one in the morning.
What groups actually do here
-
A boat from the marina
-
The dinner that matters
-
A spa day on the water
-
Beach clubs
-
Wine tasting in the villages
-
Hair and makeup, then out
The practical advantage of Limassol is density. Lunch at the marina, on a boat by two, back to get ready by six, at a table by nine and out afterwards — without anyone spending the good part of the day in a minibus.
When to come
Any time. This is the real difference between Limassol and the east coast.
Ayia Napa is a season — late May to late September, and much of it shuts outside that. Limassol is a city people live in all year. The restaurants are open in February, the hotels are open, the seafront is busy on a Sunday in November. Summer is hotter and more expensive; spring and autumn are quieter, cheaper, and still warm enough for the boat. If your dates are awkward, this is the answer.
In their words
We booked our hen weekend in Cyprus through Cove & More and honestly didn't have to think about a single thing — the villa, the boat day, the restaurant bookings, all of it was sorted before we even landed. Eight of us, zero stress, and a group chat that's still talking about it months later.
